Christmas Cheer, Part Three

Our holidays this year were quiet and laid back, with a big focus on food. Thanks to Joe, we splurged on some amazing meals, including, but not limited to: baked artichoke spinach dip, slow roasted leg of lamb, sauteed kale, rosemary roasted potatoes, bagels with cream cheese and fancy smoked Welsh salmon, seafood fettucine, delicious cheese from the cheesemonger, and lots of champagne and wine to wash it all down.

Christmas morning, we woke up early and headed down to the East Sands (the beach closest to our flat) to watch the sun rise. It was a very white Christmas in Scotland this year.

It was beautiful (cold!), and a perfect way to start Christmas...
