Today is my niece's 4th birthday, and the first birthday I haven't been able to celebrate with her. So this post has nothing to do with Scotland other than that by being in Scotland, I am not in Washington today. Of course, these days Charlotte is all about Matt anyway, so she won't miss me too much. She'll be too busy perfecting her poses (see above) and eating M&M pancakes with whipped cream (see below).

Though she really IS all about Matt (notice how she had to re-tell the story of her birthday presents when she saw him) she talks about you ALL the time. And every time we talk about going to Disneyland she asks if you're going to come because she wants it to be a "family vee-cation" and you're her family. We miss you!
