This is going to be brief, because we haven't got power adapters for our computers yet and my battery is running low. Suffice to say, we're here (if you didn't get that from the heading) and while the trip was long and tiring, St. Andrews is actually more beautiful/charming/Scottish than we ever expected. I'll post a couple photos here, but keep in mind that you'll really have to try and come see it for yourselves because the pictures just don't do it justice.
We're still getting settled into the flat, but we'll post pictures of that once it's up to my standards (aka unpacked and maybe organized a little). Our roommate James (photo to come, because Matt is creepy and insisted on taking one) is fantastic and he and his girlfriend Andrea have been incredibly helpful in helping us figure out where to go for everything and the layout of the town.

ReplyDeleteI just realized this pictures make it look much more desolate/full of castles than it actually is. Next time, I'll try to post pictures that actually capture the town a little better.
